USCIS Expansion myProgress to Form I-765 and Form I-131

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced today that we are expanding my Progress (formerly known as personalized processing times) to Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, and Form I-131, Application for Travel Document.

myProgress grants applicants access to personalized wait time estimates for key milestones in their case through their online accounts, including the final decision. These estimates rely on historical data from similar cases but do not guarantee processing speed. They may not account for all potential unique delays and can occasionally over- or underestimate actual processing times.

In addition to Form I-765 and Form I-131, myProgress is available for applicants with a USCIS online account who file Form N-400, Application for Naturalization; Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card; or Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative.

To access estimated case timelines, applicants should initially establish a USCIS online account or log in to their existing one. After selecting their pending application, if they have e-filed or linked an applicable form using an online access code, they will find a myProgress tab dedicated to their application. This myProgress tab will provide them with an estimated waiting time until their case reaches a decision and display a checkmark next to three milestones as they are successfully achieved.

  • Confirmation that the application was received;
  • Biometric services appointment (if required) has been completed; and
  • The decision on the pending case.

Applicants will still need to visit the public Check Case Processing Times webpage to determine if they are eligible to file an Outside of Normal Processing Times service request
